Vila Jaguara was a typically residential neighborhood until the mid-90s, when a large number of micro-enterprises and small businesses settled in the region. The middle class predominates. The neighborhood is located in a strategic point, with connections to several other neighborhoods in the region and access to marginal highways. The first company to establish itself in the neighborhood was a brickworks, owned by the Uliani family. The neighborhood developed a lot in relation to the establishment of the Armor meat processing plant in the 1920s. Then came Refinação de Milho Brasil and Irmãos Lever. Some direct descendants of the Uliani, still alive, reside in the village. Unfortunately, only memories and old stories remained from the Pottery.
