Parque 10 de Novembro, known as Parque Dez, is a neighborhood in the Brazilian municipality of Manaus, capital of the state of Amazonas. It is located in the Center-South Zone of the city. According to estimates from the Department of Economic Development, Science, Technology and Innovation of Amazonas (SEDECTI), its population was 48,771 inhabitants in 2017.
Parque 10 was created in 1938, when a year earlier, on November 10, 1937, President Getúlio Vargas had closed the National Congress and installed the Estado Novo. The tightening of the regime did not prevent the creation of the Parque 10 spa in Manaus, structured to welcome families from Amazonas in its natural pool, supplied by the clear waters of the Mindu stream, in a vast green area, with a zoo and a restaurant for the gastronomic satisfaction of patrons.
Parque 10 is today a neighborhood that concentrates a lot of commercial activity without compromising its high-quality residential aspect. The community is served by bank branches, lottery outlets, restaurants, concert halls and all the basic infrastructure provided by the public authorities. It has public and private schools, a specialized police station, the Women's Police Station, and an effervescent cultural and nightlife, as can be seen in Praça do Caranguejo, in the Eldorado complex.

Rua do Comércio, in the Castelo Branco complex, concentrates most of the neighborhood's shops and services, but some commercial establishments can be found throughout the perimeter of the street. Parque Dez makes its economic vocation the main reason for receiving so many visitors from other locations, who seek restaurant services and other attractions provided by companies located in the region in the neighborhood. The neighborhood is close to large shopping centers and is served by several public transport lines, which go to all directions of the city.
There is no way to talk about Parque 10 de Novembro without mentioning the famous "CSU do Parque 10", located at Avenida Perimetral, nº 22.
It has a vast area for sports, recreation, gymnastics, workouts, kiosks and one of the most traditional festivals in the city of Manaus, the famous "Arraial do CSU", which has various attractions and food typical of June festivals.
